As we accelerate our regional expansion, we are seeking an experienced business development professional to drive growth in Singapore and Malaysia.

Role Overview

As the Business Development Manager for Singapore, you will own and drive business development activities for WhiteCoat. Working closely with the Singapore Country Manager, you will identify and secure new partnerships, expand our service portfolio, and grow existing client relationships. This is a strategic and hands‑on role that requires strong commercial acumen, relationship‑building skills and the ability to lead deals from prospecting through to close.

Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership & Growth

  • Understand the market landscape, product offerings and growth opportunities.
  • Develop and execute a sales and business development strategy for Singapore aligning with market growth targets.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by proactively identifying, sourcing and qualifying new client accounts and partnership opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking and market research.
  • Ideate on potential leads and suggest new business avenues to unlock untapped market segments.

Account Growth & Relationship Management

  • Collaborate with the account management team to identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities within existing client relationships.
  • Lead engagements with clients through presentations, meetings and events to drive adoption and utilisation of WhiteCoat’s services.
  • Work closely with internal teams (product, marketing, operations) to customise partnership proposals and ensure seamless execution of deals.

Market Intelligence & Process Development

  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape and customer needs; share insights with leadership to inform business development strategy.
  • Develop and implement sales processes, structures and best practices to standardise prospecting, qualification, proposals and deal closure.
  • Prepare regular pipeline, revenue and performance reports for leadership, highlighting opportunities and potential challenges.
