Controls Technician-FBO

The Controls Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing industrial automation and control systems throughout the Faribault plant. This role works with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, SCADA systems, instrumentation, servo systems, and OT networks to support safe, reliable, and efficient production operations. Key responsibilities include diagnosing equipment and system issues, programming and maintaining control systems, performing calibrations and preventive maintenance, supporting continuous improvement projects, and ensuring compliance with electrical safety and cybersecurity standards. Candidates should have a two-year technical degree or equivalent experience, at least three years of industrial controls or automation experience, and strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automation systems. The position offers a pay range of $30.75 to $43.25 per hour and reports to the Manager of Plant Engineering.
