Body Technician

This position is located in the Maintenance Division of EMBARK. Essential Job Functions: Painting, diagnosing and repairing of body damage and structural failures, major or minor, on buses, Para-transit vehicles, cars and other standard or heavy equipment. Must be proficient in methods of replacement of windshields, and other vehicle body glass. Must be knowledgeable in the use of welding and cutting equipment including MIG, Arc, and mixed gas. Must have the ability to complete work in a reasonable length of time in a workmanship-like manner. Independent judgment must be used in the performance of assigned duties. Employee must have the ability to complete work in a reasonable length of time and in a workmanship-like manner. Instructions are general in nature, and the employee must use independent judgment in carrying out assignments. Overall work performance is reviewed at the discretion of the Division Head.
