Category Manager

Role holders at this level undertake responsibility for management all aspects of marketing programs for specified product(s). This entails in-depth experience of managing relevant products and a detailed understanding of the category dealt with. Job involves development of category marketing plans for a range of products and responsibility for delivery of the product plans through appropriate subordinate staff. They have overall responsibility for the commercial success of a product range through accurate pricing, positioning and cost management and providing market feedback to product developers. They will also be responsible for maintaining key external relationships/customers.
