Staff Research Associate

This position is focused on research with biosamples from patients with multiple myeloma, to more deeply understand the biology of this disease and to develop more effective therapies. The research associate will be directly supervised by Dr. David Oh, who directs the UCSF Cancer Immunotherapy Laboratory which focuses on translational research at the intersection of immunology and oncology that seeks to understand mechanisms of response, resistance and toxicity with immune-based therapies; as well as Dr. Thomas Martin, clinical research director of Hematologic Malignancies at UCSF. In close collaboration with the UCSF Hematologic Malignancies Tissue Bank, the research associate will process samples from UCSF myeloma patients for downstream experimentation, and link these samples to additional relevant information that may be available.
