Tax Manager - Contract to Hire

The Tax Manager will report to the Tax Director and work within a small in-house tax department, preparing workpapers and managing outside staff and consultants. In this role, you will support the Tax Director and lead the partnership tax compliance process for both regulated and non-regulated capital-intensive energy businesses, while advising/supporting the tax planning, merger & acquisition, and other deal structuring. The right candidate is equally comfortable digging into a workpaper, writing a technical memorandum, and presenting findings to senior leadership. This role is structured as a contract-to-hire engagement — it begins as a contract position, with the opportunity to convert to a permanent, full-time role based on performance and mutual fit.
