Under limited supervision, develops, evaluates and improves manufacturing methods, using knowledge
of the organization's processes. Researches, designs and develops fabrication methods, tools and
systems. Collaborates cross-functionally with design, engineering, process and/or production teams to
meet quality, productivity and cost objectives. Acts with higher level authority, requiring direction only in
more complicated matters. May assign daily work and acts as a mentor for less experienced
professionals
