Your Mission
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) , your goal is simple yet essential: start strategic conversations with the right people. You identify potential clients, open meaningful discussions, and lay the groundwork for future partnerships. You’re the first link in a chain that drives Adzuna’s growth.
You’ll spend roughly
- 80% of your time on outbound prospecting: identifying key accounts, researching decision-makers, and starting conversations that lead to meetings.
- 20% collaborating with Account Executives and Marketing to refine messaging, analyze performance, and ensure smooth lead handovers.
🚀 What You’ll Do
- Identify and qualify companies facing challenges that Adzuna can solve.
- Pinpoint and contact the right decision-makers within target organizations.
- Start conversations to understand their priorities, pain points, and recruitment goals.
- Explain how Adzuna helps similar organizations improve efficiency, reduce costs, or save time.
- Schedule qualified meetings by identifying:
- 1/ What the prospect wants to achieve with Adzuna,
- 2/ Who is involved in the decision-making process,
- 3/The urgency and priority of their challenge.
- Handoff qualified opportunities to Account Executives, ensuring they have all relevant insights.
- Keep your pipeline organized and up to date in HubSpot (our CRM).
- Share feedback from the field to continuously improve our sales playbook and outreach strategy.

- You’re curious, ambitious, and motivated by impact.
- You have 2-3 years of experience in a B2B sales or lead generation role (SaaS, HR tech, recruitment or consulting is a plus).
- You’re persistent, resilient, and know how to stay focused even in the face of rejection.
- You communicate clearly, listen actively, and know how to ask the right questions.
- You’re fluent in French and English .
- You’re organized, data-driven, and comfortable using tools like HubSpot, Sales Navigator, Modjo, Slack , and Google Workspace .
