  • Pay - $18.25 + $2.00 shift differential
  • Hours: 2 PM - 10 PM

The general responsibilities and duties of a sanitation worker in Tyson Foods may include

Cleaning and Sanitizing: Sanitation workers are responsible for cleaning and sanitizing various areas of the facility, including production lines, equipment, floors, walls, and other surfaces. This involves using cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment to ensure a clean and safe working environment.

Compliance with Safety and Sanitation Standards: Sanitation workers must adhere to all safety and sanitation standards set by Tyson Foods and regulatory agencies. This includes following proper procedures for handling and disposing of cleaning chemicals, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Inspections and Documentation: Sanitation workers may be responsible for conducting regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify any sanitation issues or potential hazards. They may also be required to document cleaning activities, including recording cleaning logs, completing checklists, and maintaining records of cleaning supplies and equipment.

Equipment Maintenance: Sanitation workers may be responsible for routine maintenance and troubleshooting of cleaning equipment, such as pressure washers, scrubbers, and sanitizing systems. This includes cleaning and maintaining equipment to ensure proper functionality and reporting any equipment malfunctions or repairs needed.

Teamwork and Communication: Sanitation workers often work as part of a team and must communicate effectively with supervisors, production staff, and other team members.
