What You Will Do

  • Support an Integrated Product Team (IPT) consisting of Project, Design, Structures, and Durability disciplines within Hot Section Engineering (HSE).
  • Communicate status of technical issues and budget updates to CIPT leaders, Hot section Engineering (HSE) leadership, internal program offices, and external customers.
  • Collaborate with purchasing, suppliers, customer support, and sustainment teams to support engine deliveries and address field challenges.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering major obtained by start date.
  • Experience with one or more of the following: Analog, Digital Electronics, Mixed Signal, Circuit Design or Analysis, Electrical Components, Digital Signal Processing or PCB design.
  • Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA

Experience may be obtained through on‑the‑job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
  • Eligibility for Security clearance
  • Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.

What You Will Learn

  • This position is a part of our Engineering Development Program (EDP). EDP participants will complete three to four rotations to build technical breadth and leadership abilities before graduating from the program.
  • You have the opportunity to experience three different disciplines (Project, Design, Structures, and Durability) during this program and then down select which HSE discipline you would like to join upon graduation from this three-year rotational program.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
