Job Description Manages and services large-scale 'in-country' data center infrastructure and facilities to ensure 24x7 operations in rotating shifts. Proactive coordination and escalation related to site operational issues and client’s requirements ensuring great customer experience at all times while also taking guidance and complying with STT GDC GDCO policies and standards. Support and ensure smooth 24x7 running of the operations in the 'in-country' data center. Acts as Level 2 escalation point by overseeing and resolving all onsite operational incidents and major issues, responding & performing remote requests within SLA. Understands the M&E, security, network and plumbing systems of the building, critical facilities equipment and other equipment associated with the DC environment. Documents and updates accurately all requests on the internal web portal ticketing system such as user requests, incidents, provisioning, etc. Implements best-in-class DC operations based on ITIL and industry practices. Delivers ITIL compliance process conformance for incident, problem and change management. Ensures effective implementations of safety, security and customer support policies and procedures. Coordinates and provides support to contractors and vendors as well as inspecting ongoing and completed works. Plans and supports all preventive and reactive maintenance activities with little to no disruption to the company's services. Participates and supports internal and external audits for internal stakeholders and customers. Generates accurate and regular reports as required. Any other duties or projects as assigned by the management.
