Die Maintenance Technician (Press Shop)

Mission and Main Objectives

• Ideally experienced in the manufacture & maintenance of Press or Injection Moulding tooling.
• Tool design modification and try out / commissioning experience also a benefit.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• Experience of problem solving and implementing countermeasures on Press / Injection Moulding tooling, including some of the following disciplines:-
• TIG, MIG, ARC welding.
• Fitting / hand grinding to a tight tolerance.
• Preventative die / tool maintenance.
• Tooling development.
• Route cause analysis.
• Hem die function / maintenance.
