Job Description – Blow Moulding Operator

Machine Operation

• Operate PET blow moulding machines according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Start up, run, and shut down the machine safely.
• Monitor machine parameters such as oven temperature, air pressure, heating profile, and cycle time.
• Perform mold changeover and product changeover with minimum downtime.
• Ensure continuous production as per the production schedule.

Quality Control

• Inspect bottles for quality defects such as:

• o Short blow
• o Flash
• o Black spots
• o Neck damage
• o Uneven wall thickness
• o Base defects
• o Leakage
• o Weight variation

• Ensure bottle dimensions and weight meet quality specifications.
• Segregate and report non-conforming products immediately.

Production & Productivity

• Achieve hourly and shift production targets.
• Minimize machine stoppages and process losses.
• Reduce bottle rejection and material wastage.
• Maintain Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
