Specialist, Fund/Client Accounting II (Client Activation)

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Specialist to join our Client Activation (Fund Accounting) team in Wrocław .

This role offers an excellent opportunity to deepen your expertise in fund accounting while gaining exposure to the end-to-end client onboarding and fund launch process . You will work closely with experienced professionals and cross-functional teams, supporting the successful setup and activation of new funds and clients.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways

• Support onboarding and activation activities for new funds and clients, ensuring readiness for fund launches,
• Perform accurate setup, configuration, and validation of fund structures within BNY’s internally developed systems
• Assist in reviewing key fund accounting deliverables, including static data, accounting setups, and initial outputs,
• Collaborate with different teams (Fund Accounting, Custody, Transfer Agency, Technology) to support smooth transitions to business-as-usual operations including reconciliation and issue resolution
• Support the transition of fund servicing from legacy providers, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and adherence to defined timelines
• Help track timelines and follow up on outstanding items to ensure timely delivery
• Respond to queries from internal stakeholders and support ongoing project communication,
• Contribute to maintaining a strong control environment by ensuring accuracy and completeness of data,
• Work closely with more senior team members, gaining exposure to complex client setups and processes.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following

• 2+ years of relevant experience in fund accounting, finance, or a related area,
• Basic understanding of financial markets or fund structures,
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
• Very good English communication skills,
• Good knowledge of MS Excel,
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines,
• Critical thinking in positive sense with respect to the data analysed and ability to identify anomalies,
• Understanding of dependencies between financial figures.

• Exposure to process improvement, automation, or data analytics tools
• Experience working in a team-oriented, deadline-driven environment
• Curiosity / interest in financial/capital markets / fund industry.
