AGC - Intellectual Property

Job Summary: Coherent is hiring an AGC, Intellectual Property to serve as a strategic IP partner supporting engineering, product, and commercial teams across key technology businesses. The role focuses on identifying patentable inventions, developing competitive patent strategies, conducting FTO analyses, and driving IP monetization opportunities, while managing outside counsel for prosecution work. The attorney will also coordinate cross-functional legal issues involving employment, commercial, export control, privacy, and trade secret matters, serving as a key legal liaison for business units including SiC devices, semiconductor lasers, advanced materials, and optical transceivers/datacom products.
