Senior Principal Optical Engineer

Job Summary

This position will be hired for the New Product Introduction (NPI) design team of Coherent Advanced Optics Business Unit (AOBU). As a critical member of an innovation driven team of engineers and scientists, you will be responsible for directly interfacing with our customers, researching, designing, developing, testing, and qualifying optical systems and opto-mechanical assemblies. This may include the optical design and analysis of co-package optics (CPO), fiber optics, objectives, microscope sub-assemblies. Moreover, provide profound expertise and technical support of optomechanical engineering for customers, design engineers, sales marketing team and manufacturing groups.
