About The Role
Provide technical support to integrate Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) across IOM Syria’s humanitarian programme cycle, including programme design, implementation, budgeting, information management, and monitoring. Establish and manage a mission-wide community feedback mechanism (CFM) and analyse feedback to inform programme planning and decision-making. Strengthen information sharing, transparency, and participatory engagement with communities, ensuring approaches are adapted to context, vulnerabilities, and communication preferences. Build AAP capacity within IOM by identifying skills gaps, delivering training, and documenting good practices. Co-lead the interagency AAP Working Group, coordinate collective AAP strategies and mechanisms across Syria, and advocate for AAP integration across sectors and agencies.
