About The Role

Legrand is seeking a Lead AI Engineer to provide technical leadership for its growing AI team and oversee development of MAIA, the company’s internal AI assistant platform, and other AI-driven solutions. This hands-on leadership role combines AI architecture, Azure cloud engineering, software development, and team management. Responsibilities include designing and deploying scalable AI solutions using LLMs, RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and Azure services; leading Agile development practices; mentoring engineers; conducting code reviews; managing security and operational excellence; and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders. The role serves as the primary technical leader, driving innovation, solution quality, and enterprise AI strategy across Legrand North and Central America.
