Sr. SAP Commerce Platform Engineer

This role is a senior-level, hands-on backend engineering position focused on building and evolving a centralized SAP Commerce platform that supports multiple brand storefronts. The engineer is responsible for designing and developing custom SAP Commerce extensions, integrating the platform with enterprise systems (such as ERP, PIM, and CRM), and owning issues end-to-end—from storefront requests through backend services to integration layers. A major expectation is independent troubleshooting using tools like SAP Commerce Cloud logs and Dynatrace to diagnose and resolve production issues at the root. The role also involves shaping API design in a headless/composable architecture, contributing to system design and delivery planning, and elevating team capability through code reviews, documentation, and technical leadership. Strong backend expertise, integration experience, and the ability to operate autonomously across the full stack are critical for success.
