P&C Payroll Analyst

The Payroll Operations Analyst provides day-to-day operational support across EMEA payroll operations for Grant Thornton Advisors (GTA) member firms, with an initial primary focus on Ireland. The role aggregates and validates payroll inputs, resolves first-line (Tier 1) queries, and works more complex (Tier 2) inquiries on an asynchronous basis, escalating items that fall outside defined playbooks.

This is an operational delivery role within a stabilizing, increasingly automated payroll environment. Process design, automation, and transformation are owned by the Center of Excellence (CoE) team. The analyst is expected to operate reliably against controls and cutoffs, and to surface issues they observe, but is not responsible for driving change initiatives.
