About The Role

KMBC 9, Kansas City’s News Leader and ABC affiliate, is seeking a talented Creative Services Writer Producer to develop high-impact promotional, marketing, and branded content across broadcast, digital, social, and streaming platforms. In this role, you will write, shoot, edit, and design station image campaigns, daily news promos, vertical videos, and other multiplatform content that strengthens the KMBC 9 brand. You will collaborate across departments, contribute innovative ideas, and support station campaigns, community initiatives, and marketing projects from concept through delivery. This position reports to the Creative Services Director.
