QA Engineer OPS Tech

• About the role
• You'll ensure stable releases across multiple OPS Tech streams by owning testing quality for complex processes, integrations, and rapid product changes.
• What you'll work on

• Web applications, APIs, and microservices that support operational processes across Salmon.
• Business process automation and workflow validation in Creatio-based solutions.
• Cross-functional work with developers, analysts, and product teams to deliver stable releases and improve testing coverage.

What you'll be responsible for

• Perform manual testing of web UI and microservices APIs, including feature validation and regression
• Create and maintain test documentation: test plans, test cases, and checklists
• Test APIs using Postman, curl, and OpenAPI/Swagger
• Log, track, and verify defects in Jira
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and requirements discussions with developers and business analysts
• Validate integrations and business logic across services
• Contribute to test automation by writing and maintaining automated tests within existing frameworks
• Analyze test failures and help maintain stable automated test runs

What we need

• 4+ years of experience in manual testing of web applications and APIs or microservices
• Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC and testing types: smoke, regression, functional, integration
• Solid understanding of HTTP/REST and JSON (XML is a plus)
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools: Postman, curl, OpenAPI/Swagger
• Basic understanding of microservices architecture
• Good SQL skills (SELECT, WHERE, JOIN, GROUP BY)

Good to have

• Experience testing CRM or BPM platforms, preferably Creatio.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and reviewing test execution logs.
• Basic programming knowledge in Java, Kotlin, Python, C#, or JavaScript
• Understanding of OOP fundamentals
• Experience writing UI or API automated tests
