QA Engineer Back Office

ABOUT THE ROLE

You'll help maintain quality across customer-facing systems and backend services by validating new functionality, integrations, and critical business workflows.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

• Testing web applications, APIs, and microservices used across Salmon products.
• Working closely with developers and business analysts to validate requirements before release.
• Improving test coverage for business-critical workflows and integrations.

WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and checklists.
• Execute manual testing for web applications, APIs, and microservices.
• Validate functionality through Postman, curl, and OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects in Jira.
• Analyze requirements and participate in estimation, sprint planning, and refinement sessions.
• Validate integrations, business workflows, and data consistency across systems.

WHAT WE NEED

• 3+ years of experience in manual testing of web applications, UI, and APIs/microservices.
• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and testing approaches, including smoke, regression, functional, and integration testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with Postman, curl, and OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Good understanding of HTTP/REST, JSON, and microservices architecture.
• Strong SQL skills, including SELECT, WHERE, JOIN, and GROUP BY.
• Experience working with Jira and participating in requirements discussions with cross-functional teams.

GOOD TO HAVE

• Experience testing CRM or BPM platforms, preferably Creatio.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and reviewing test execution logs.
• Basic programming knowledge in C#, Java, Kotlin, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience writing or maintaining UI and API automated tests.
