Senior Surgical Technician - Surgery Per Diem Variable

Senior Surgical Technician - Surgery at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, CA. This position is Per Diem and will work 12-hour, Variable shifts. Under the guidance and supervision of a registered nurse, is responsible for surgical case preparation including allocation of appropriate surgical supplies and instrumentation and intraoperative organization of the sterile field. Facilitates the surgeons' needs by passing the appropriate sutures and instrumentation. Assists with the terminal cleaning of the surgical suite/instrumentation after the procedure has ended. In addition, this position encompasses advanced skills through advanced training and knowledge to actively participate in optimal patient care and improved perioperative performance.
