Accessibility & Compliance Specialist (12 Month Term )

Reporting to the Airport Experience Manager, the Accessibility & Compliance Specialist leads the Accessibility Plan at HIAA. As the owner of the Accessibility Plan, the Accessibility & Compliance Specialist will provide subject matter expertise in accessible services and facilities for HIAA’s passengers and airport community. The Accessibility & Compliance Specialist will also lead the Official Languages Plan & Program at HIAA.

This position will oversee all matters related to Canadian Transportation Agency (CTA), Accessibility Committee, regulatory obligations as they relate to barrier-free airports, as well as be responsible for working on regulatory training on disability and inclusivity. This position owns the CTA-required Accessibility Plan, Progress Reports, and Feedback Process as outlined in the Accessible Transportation Planning and Reporting Regulations (ATPRRs). Similarly, the role oversees HIAA’s compliance with the Accessible Transportation for Persons with Disabilities
