Commodity Manager

The Manager, Commodity is responsible for supporting, implementing, and maintaining commodity strategies that enhance the company’s material objectives. This position evaluates supply base and technologies in order to keep Engineering and Operations aware of market trends and changes. This position also executes commodity strategies for key commodities. This position may have commodity specialist(s) as direct reports. The incumbent must possess a clear understanding of the business and technical aspects of the internal Supply Chain procurement/processing/master scheduling functions in order to: organize and manage lean material flow to successfully and efficiently deliver materials to production from an end-to-end ‘procure to pay’ perspective.
