A Low Current Engineer is responsible for the design, installation, testing, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of low-current systems in commercial, residential, industrial, and infrastructure projects. These systems include security, communications, fire alarm, networking, audio-visual, and building management systems. The engineer ensures that all systems comply with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.
Design & Engineering
- Design and develop low-current systems according to project requirements.
- Prepare system layouts, schematics, and shop drawings.
- Review project specifications, BOQs, and technical documents.
- Select suitable equipment and materials based on project needs.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards.
Installation & Implementation
- Supervise installation and integration of low-current systems.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other engineering disciplines.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.
- Conduct site inspections and quality control checks.
Testing & Commissioning
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
- Verify system functionality and performance.
- Prepare commissioning reports and handover documentation.
- Provide technical support during system startup and operation.

- Minimum Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Control and Instrumentation Systems Engineering
- Experience: Control System SIS Trainee Engineer
