Technician, Routine Maintenance (MEE) (Kuala Kangsar, Perak)

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance for mechanical and electrical assets in accordance with approved schedules and maintenance standards.
• Attend to equipment breakdowns and emergency call-outs within the stipulated Service Level Agreement (SLA), including standby or on-call duties when required.
• Conduct regular site inspections, identify defects, prepare reports, and ensure timely rectification in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Plan, execute, and monitor daily maintenance activities while maintaining accurate records and updating maintenance systems (e.g. RAMS).
• Supervise subcontractors, evaluate work quality and performance, and assist in contract administration, including payment certification and work verification.
• Ensure proper upkeep of maintenance tools, equipment, and assets, including monitoring scheduled waste disposal and Green House activities.
• Comply with all company policies, quality, safety, health, and environmental requirements, including ISO standards and applicable statutory regulations.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, preferably within infrastructure, highway, industrial, or facilities maintenance environments.
• Certified PW4 Wireman is an added advantage.
• Possess a valid driving licence and willing to travel or work on standby/on-call duties when required.
