Foreman, Meter Warehouse - (26-WS-813021-015)

The Foreman, Meter Warehouse, is a pivotal role responsible for the comprehensive management of meter and MTU (Meter Transmission Unit) inventory, both in the field and the meter warehouse. This includes overseeing return material authorizations, acting as the primary liaison for the test bench manufacturer, directing the work of Meter Warehouse Technicians, and meticulously reporting data regarding inventory levels and meter accuracy. Responsible for operating the meter Test Bench and performing warehouse materials handling as established by DC Water. This position ensures inventory is created and maintained in the appropriate systems of record. Monitors inventory budgets, develop projections and orders revenue assets according to operational needs. Performing general warehouse duties of receiving, stocking, picking, packing, staging, and shipping; and performing pick-up and delivery of parts and/or materials between warehouses, from suppliers, and to service work crews.
