SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS

The Manager, Public Relations leads the planning, development, and execution of the University’s public relations strategy and stakeholder engagement agenda. The role holds full accountability for managing the PR function, driving the University’s external image and reputation, and building high-impact relationships with government entities, community partners, media, and key national and regional stakeholders.

The Manager provides strategic oversight and hands-on leadership across all PR operations, directing a team of PR professionals, managing departmental budgets and performance, and ensuring alignment of PR initiatives with the University’s institutional strategy and values.
