Lead Procurement Engineer

About The Role
- RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare RFQ documents as per the project technical specifications / applicable project standards.
- Submit the RFQ to the vendors as per the approved vendor list with Bid closing date.
- Review the offers as received from vendors and prepare comments for compliance.
- Submit the comments to vendors found during the review.
- Revise the offers as per the found comments / observation.
- Prepare technical compliance statement and submit it the vendor for compliance.
- Prepare supplier comparison sheet and submit it to the manager for approval.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best prices and the highest quality according to the
required specifications.
- Prepare purchase requisition and agreements to be submitted to the respective vendor.
- Receive vendors’ invoices to be submitted to project / technical / operations team for review and initial approval.
- Prepare and report procurement long lead items delivery / completion of works reports / closing documents.
- Evaluate and report sub-contractor / vendors performance after the completion of each project.
- Source new suppliers and Invent negotiation strategies and secure profitable deals.
- Ensure the documentation and implementation of policies, procedures, and processes to ensure efficiency and
effectiveness.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Experience of Aramco procurement life cycle.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices.
- Effective communication skills.
- Problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical skill and attention to details.
- Strong in MS Office.
- Proficient in English.
- Education Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical)
- Experience 6-9 years of experience in Procurement field.
