Join our Tampa manufacturing site as an OT Systems Engineer where you will support critical automation and operational technology systems that help deliver high-quality pharmaceutical products. This role offers the opportunity to work across manufacturing, laboratory, and utility environments while driving reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement.

What you will do

  • Support and maintain OT systems, including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, BAS/BMS, LIMS, LMS, and data historian platforms.
  • Ensure OT systems remain reliable, secure, and compliant within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Maintain system architecture, asset inventories, configuration records, and technical documentation.
  • Manage validated backup and recovery processes, including restoration testing and disaster recovery activities.
  • Lead OT activities for equipment installations, upgrades, commissioning, and automation improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, and IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
  • Support cybersecurity, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance and data integrity.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting OT, automation, or manufacturing systems.
  • Experience working within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or other GMP-regulated environments preferred.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, industrial automation, and system integration principles.
  • Familiarity with Computer System Validation (CSV), GAMP 5, and 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
