DS
DevOps Engineer Intern
DigiCo Solutions · Saifi, Beirut, Lebanon
About The Role
The role
You'll be working alongside our Delivery team on real client infrastructure and internal company platforms. You'll get hands-on with core AWS services, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines, while learning how Digico Solutions uses Claude, agentic coding tools, and MCP-based workflows to move faster across engagements.
This is an onsite role at our Beirut office
What you'll do
- Support delivery engineers on live client engagements: provisioning basic AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS), troubleshooting, and documenting as you go.
- Build and maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines — build, test, deploy stages — under engineer review.
- Write and debug Dockerfiles; get comfortable with basic Kubernetes concepts (pods, deployments, services) through guided tasks, not solo ownership.
- Use Claude, agentic coding tools, and Anthropic Skills/MCP as part of your daily workflow — for scripting, debugging, documentation, and repetitive delivery tasks — and give feedback on where they help or fall short.
- Keep your task tracker (Linear) and documentation (Notion) up to date as you go — this is how you learn our delivery discipline, not paperwork for its own sake.
- Shadow client calls and internal architecture discussions to see how design decisions get made.
What you'll bring
- A degree in progress or recently completed in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic working knowledge of AWS core services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC) — coursework, personal projects, or certifications all count.
- Some exposure to Docker and a basic conceptual understanding of Kubernetes (Production experience is not required).
- Comfort using Git/GitHub, and enough scripting (Python or Bash) to automate small tasks.
- Strong written English and Arabic.
- Curiosity, reliability, and a willingness to ask questions rather than guess on client-facing work.
Nice to have
- AWS Cloud Practitioner certification.
- Any personal or academic project involving CI/CD, containers, or infrastructure-as-code.
- Prior exposure to Terraform.
- Familiarity with the concept of MCP (Model Context Protocol) or agentic workflows, even at a conceptual level.
What we offer
- Real engagements, real accountability. Your work touches actual client infrastructure under senior review.
- Direct mentorship from delivery engineers and the Engineering Team Lead.
- A stipend for the 3-month duration.
- A strong shot for a full-time offer if the fit is right.
