About The Role

Egypt Education Platform is excited to announce an opening for a Music Teacher – Primary Stage specializing in the National Curriculum at Madinaty Integrated Language School . The successful candidate will inspire students through music, fostering creativity, self-expression, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts while creating an engaging and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver interactive, age-appropriate music lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for the Primary Stage.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity, confidence, and active participation.
  • Teach fundamental music concepts, including rhythm, melody, singing, listening skills, and basic music theory.
  • Organize and lead musical activities, performances, school celebrations, and other extracurricular events.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and musical resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their musical development.
  • Encourage teamwork, self-expression, and appreciation for different musical styles and cultures.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents regarding student progress and participation.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and remain up to date with current educational methodologies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute positively to the school community and school events.
  • Bachelor's degree in Music Education, Music, Education, or a related field.
  • Teaching qualification is preferred.
  • Previous experience teaching Music in the Primary Stage within the National Curriculum is preferred.
  • Strong musical knowledge and the ability to engage young learners through creative and interactive lessons.
  • Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for music education and commitment to fostering students' creativity and confidence.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and collaborative teaching practices
