The Role – Manufacturing Material Handler

Due to continued business growth and investment in our manufacturing operations, we are expanding our team and adding Manufacturing Material Handlers. These are newly created opportunities that offer the chance to make a meaningful impact while growing your career with an employee-owned company. The Manufacturing Material Handler is responsible for accurately and safely moving, issuing, staging, and replenishing materials to support production schedules in a high-mix electrical fabrication environment. This role helps ensure inventory accuracy, uninterrupted production flow, and a safe, organized workplace. We have two (2) roles available, with one of those being a lead role! The lead role is responsible for coordinating workflow, setting priorities, and assessing and solving workflow issues within their assigned focus area.

What You'll Do

  • Receive, move, stage, and deliver materials to production areas.
  • Issue materials to jobs accurately and on time based on work order requirements.
  • Perform inventory transactions and maintain accurate records within the ERP system.
  • Support cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory accuracy initiatives.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse and production environment.

What You Bring (Required Experience)

  • 1-3+ years in a material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing support role.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity includes inventory and material flow, job‑based or BOM‑driven environments, and ERP material transactions.
  • Forklift certification or the ability to obtain one.
  • The ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely.
