Part Time Sales Associate

At Nadeau – Furniture with a Soul, no two pieces of furniture are exactly alike—and neither are the people who make our stores special.

Our Chicago showroom is looking for an energetic and dependable Part-Time Showroom Sales Associate who enjoys connecting with customers, working with unique furniture and décor, and staying active throughout the day.

This is not a stand-behind-the-counter kind of retail position. You will help customers discover meaningful pieces for their homes while also supporting the hands-on, physical side of showroom and inventory operations.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome customers and provide a friendly, engaging showroom experience
• Help customers find one-of-a-kind furniture, décor, and accessories
• Recommend products and confidently guide customers through the sale
• Safely lift, carry, and move furniture weighing 50 pounds or more
• Assist with merchandising and maintaining an organized, customer-ready showroom
• Work with the team to meet store sales and operational goals

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• At least 18 years of age
• One to two years of retail, customer service, or sales experience
• Friendly, professional, and comfortable approaching and assisting customers
• Able to confidently recommend products and close sales
• Willing and able to regularly lift and move furniture weighing 50 pounds or more, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Dependable transportation to and from scheduled shifts
• Weekend availability is required
• Flexible availability based on store needs
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to follow direction
• Comfortable working in an active, fast-paced environment
