Job Purpose

The UL Order to Cash (OTC) M&A Separation and TSA Manager plays a key role in supporting Unilever's business separation program by leading Order to Cash transition activities across assigned markets. The role ensures that local teams, service providers, and regional stakeholders are fully prepared for the implementation of Transition Service Agreements (TSAs), including process alignment, system access readiness, data collection, and operational stabilization. The manager acts as the primary OTC subject matter expert, helping markets navigate separation requirements while ensuring business continuity and operational excellence.

The main responsibilities

  • Supports and delivers Unilever M&A work in the area of OTC transition activities
  • Responsible for a set of assigned markets, ensures local markets and regional teams are briefed and engaged on the ongoing transition activities, working with them to ensure business readiness for the OTC related Transition Service Agreement start, including (i) process finetuning that may be required and (ii) system access adjustments
  • Supports mapping and documenting local set-ups and specificities relevant for business transition and TSA preparation, incl. any required data collections
  • Contributes to preparing and communicating central TSA related guidelines for OTC
  • Supports assigned markets in their TSA execution and later drives their TSA exit process
  • Provides regular progress status updates
  • Ensures fast issue resolution and on time programme delivery

What are the key tasks that must be facilitated within this role?

  • Co-creates TSA plans and other TSA documentation as required by the program
  • Engages markets to prepare for TSA activation and ensures TSA stabilization
  • Provides OTC expertise into the set-up of separation activities focusing on TSA preparation
  • Works with business, as well as with central and 3PSP teams to ensure smooth TSA start
  • Provides expert view on OTC related Change Requests incl. IT elements
  • Addresses issues and provide regular PMO status reports
  • Supports and guides in OTC data extraction and analysis as required
  • Interface with IT advising on technical set-ups and SAP related query
  • Actively uses project progress trackers, update plans working closely with PMO
  • Prepares and support execution of TSA exits as required by the relevant separation

Professional Knowledge/Skill Requirements

Must Have

  • Able to engage confidently with stakeholders in countries
  • Very good planning and organising skills, project management experience
  • Good SAP FI and SD user knowledge, Power BI
  • Proficient with financial and supply chain transactional processes;
  • Extensive experience of process management and improvement
  • Extensive Order to cash operational experience (e.g. in AR or customer service role)
  • Excellent written and verbal English in addition to at least one more widely used language
  • Ability to work effectively remotely, influence others
  • Can work under pressure and tight deadlines

Nice to Have

  • SAP FI or SD config. knowledge
  • UL MDM process knowledge (customer and pricing)
  • Able to work in detail without losing focus on the result
  • UL Service or Process Excellence experience in OTC
