Mid Level Structural Designer

Responsibilities

• Develop Revit models to include foundations and structural steel layout based on verbal and rough sketches.
• Produce high quality drawings from models and sketches using Revit software.
• Revise and update designs as required based on project changes and feedback.
• Highly proficient in checking their own work and coordinating work with related disciplines to avoid clashes.
• Manages and incorporates electronic redlines from the design team per the established workflow.
• Performs assigned work efficiently and effectively to maximize productivity.
• Participates in project meetings and reviews as required.
• Follows direct design standards and procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Engineering or Architecture.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in structural design, with a focus on Industrial and water engineering projects.
• Proficiency in Revit for structural design software, including ACC/Forma.
• Experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam software.
• Working knowledge of industry standards and regulations for construction.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
