We are looking for a System Engineering Team Lead based in Lithuania to lead a team of System Engineering specialists working on integrating warehouse automation systems.
In this role, you will play a key part in developing a high-performing team while ensuring projects meet customer requirements, contractual commitments and delivery objectives. You will provide leadership, guidance and hands-on support across system integration activities, while driving engineering excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement.

- The monthly pay range for this role is estimated to be €4500-6500 gross (final compensation will be determined based on your competencies and experience).
Tasks and Qualifications
What will you do in this role?
- Lead, mentor and support the team, fostering technical excellence, collaboration and continuous development.
- Conduct performance and development reviews for team members.
- Lead recruitment, assessment and selection of new team members.
- Lead onboarding and training activities for new team members, ensuring a smooth transition into the business.
- Coordinate resource planning and project allocation for team members, working closely with System Engineering leadership and regional stakeholders.
- Provide resource forecasting and capacity planning data using company planning tools.
- Act as a technical contributor, providing hands-on support for system integration activities when required.
- Guide and support the team in delivering projects on time, within budget and to the required quality and performance standards.
- Ensure the delivery of solutions that meet contractual, functional and throughput requirements.
- Review and support regional sales proposals to ensure compliance with company standards, including testing strategies and pre-project requirements.
- Promote the consistent application of global processes, engineering best practices and quality standards across projects.
- Drive effective issue management and project visibility through the company's preferred tools and processes (currently Jira).
- Collaborate with System Engineering leadership and regional peers to drive standardisation and continuous improvement across the EMEA region.
What are we looking for?
- Proven experience leading technical teams within an engineering environment, with a genuine passion for people leadership and a strong track record of coaching, mentoring and developing team members.
- Technical engineering background, preferably within systems integration, automation, controls, mechatronics or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience working within an industrial automation environment is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective cross-functional relationships.
- Commercial awareness, sound decision-making ability and a strong focus on quality and cost.
- Ability to balance operational priorities with longer-term planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Highly organised, thorough and detail-oriented.
- Proven ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and project management tools such as Jira.
- Full working proficiency in Lithuanian and English.
- Willingness to travel internationally for up to 50%.
