Laboratory Aide II - Microbiology

A Day in the Life 

• Computer functions: 
• Requisition entry 
• Result entry 
• Monitor instrument temperatures.  
• Maintain supplies of test reagents and other materials used for specimen testing. 
• Process specimens for send out to reference laboratories

What’s Required  

• High School Diploma / GED
• Previous laboratory experience or medical assistant training and/or certification or satisfactory completion of laboratory introductory phlebotomy course.
