We are seeking a Director, Global Procurement Direct to join our team supporting our External Manufacturing organization, CMO’s, Drug Substance, Drug Product, and Advanced Therapies on an on-site basis. In this role, you will develop and lead holistic category strategies, build and manage a global CMO procurement team, and drive competitive advantage and supplier performance while collaborating with IOPS stakeholders and Direct Procurement Leadership to enable Regeneron's revenue targets and new product pipeline.

Discover your role
- Leads the composition, development, and execution of category strategies across CMO External Manufacturing, Drug Substance, and Drug Product
- Translates category strategies into achievable sourcing projects that deliver value to Regeneron and its patients
- Partners with Direct Procurement Leadership and IOPS stakeholders to evolve strategies as Regeneron's pipeline grows
- Builds and manages a global team providing CMO procurement support, developing talent and driving process excellence
- Collaborates across Global Procurement to manage cross-category suppliers and executes a best-in-class partner management program
- Implements technology solutions to drive value through efficiency and effectiveness
- Serves as a role-model leader, creating clarity, vision, transparency, and trust across the organization
- Influences and partners with senior executives and peer functions to drive strategic change and efficiency across CMO and External Manufacturing categories
This role requires
- Director Level: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 12+ years of progressive experience in procurement, preferably including substantial experience in Pharma/BioPharma
- In-depth knowledge of CMOs and External Manufacturing, Raw Materials, or Packaging Technologies within pharmaceutical procurement categories
- Proven success leading global category teams, processes, and suppliers across a breadth of categories
- Preferred/nice-to-have: Working knowledge of sourcing and contracting tools, ERPs, and eRFx systems (e.g., Oracle, Zycus, Ariba)
