About The Role
We are seeking an Estimator or Restoration PM to join our Construction Advisory team. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set to join the Construction Advisory team, whose responsibilities extend beyond those of traditional engineers and technical consultants.
The Estimator has responsibility for the creation of repair and restoration estimates and perform inspections needed to fulfill our obligations to our clients as third-party cost consultants.  This role is responsible working alongside our current team of individuals providing expert opinions and potential testimony opportunities. This is a growth role supporting our Clients (Attorneys, Architects, Engineers, General Contractors, Developers, and Owners) directly and within a team, working alongside our Construction Advisory Leaders.
Job Responsibilities
An expert in day to day estimating responsibilities, including but not limited to
- Develop estimates for commercial projects such as Residential, Multifamily, Mixed Use, Commercial Office, Sports & Recreation, Public Safety, Industrial, Institutional Corrections Facilities, Healthcare etc.
- Develop estimate models from conceptual and/or construction documents. Utilizing experience with construction projects and inferring from repair concepts to develop cost models.
- Develop Project Delivery Specific cost models for:    
- Project indirect costs
- General Requirements
- General Conditions
- Contractor staffing and other project execution team related costs
- Contingencies, fees and allowances reflective of the Project specifics
- Ensure the flow of project information is maintained and documented throughout the process to ensure the qualification of the ongoing opinion of cost
- Utilize network and industry resources to maintain updated records on industry labor rates, subcontractors and suppliers with periodic unit cost indexing for accuracy
- Understand construction methods, productivity, equipment, building systems and materials.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree with accumulated technical experience of 7-10 years in a construction-related field. 
- Minimum of 5 years as a construction cost estimator
- Be proficient in a variety of computer software programs used in estimating
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Possess strong mathematical and computer skills.
- Ability to breakdown construction operations into a logical sequence of activities
- Must be able to meet deadlines and be efficient with time management for your team and your own efforts.
- Strong organization and communication skills

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $110k- $150k. Any offered salary range is based on a wide array of factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, training, location, scope of role, management responsibility, etc.
