Summary

Looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Web Application Developer (Java Full Stack) to join our dynamic team. As a Web Application Developer, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining our digital platforms, marketing sites, web/business applications, and content management systems. You will leverage your expertise in Java, front-end technologies, database and cloud to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities Include

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate/JPA, REST APIs, and MySQL/RDBMS.
• Develop responsive user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and at least one modern framework such as React, or Angular
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate applications with internal and external systems.
• Participate in application design discussions and contribute to technical solutions following established architecture guidelines.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects and production issues with appropriate root cause analysis.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices.
• Work in Agile/Scrum teams and collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, UX designers, and other developers.
• Support application modernization initiatives by contributing to migration and enhancement activities.
• Ensure application quality through unit testing, integration testing, and adherence to security and performance best practices.
• Participate in production support and scheduled on-call rotations, as required.

Qualifications

The following are required for the role

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5-8 years of hands-on experience developing enterprise web applications using Java technologies.
• Strong programming skills in Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate/JPA, and RESTful Web Services.
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and common design patterns.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server, including SQL optimization.
• Hands-on experience with application servers such as Tomcat or JBoss/WildFly.
• Experience with front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and one modern JavaScript framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a global team.
