(RN) Nurse Supervisor – Outpatient Surgery

As the RN Clinical Supervisor for our Ambulatory Surgery Center, you will help lead a team that delivers safe, efficient, and compassionate care throughout the surgical experience. Patient care remains your top priority, but you also understand that strong leadership means managing schedules, supporting your team, solving problems, and keeping daily operations moving.

You will serve as a clinical resource, team champion, and decision-maker while working closely with nursing leadership, surgeons, anesthesia providers, and support teams. In return, we will provide the support and tools you need to grow and live your extraordinary.

Your Everyday

• Support the daily clinical and operational needs of the Ambulatory Surgery Center.
• Coordinate patient flow through pre-op, procedure, recovery, and discharge.
• Serve as a clinical resource for nursing practices, safety, and departmental procedures.
• Prepare and adjust staff schedules based on patient volume and department needs.
• Monitor nursing documentation, quality standards, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with employee orientation, training, competency assessments, and performance feedback.
• Support hiring, interviewing, staff accountability, and team development.
• Identify operational challenges and help implement solutions that improve safety, efficiency, and patient experience.

The Must-Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Louisiana Registered Nurse license.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• At least one year of nursing experience in a relevant surgical or procedural specialty.

Previous ambulatory surgery, operating room, pre-op, PACU, charge nurse, or leadership experience is preferred.
