About The Role

A leading tertiary care hospital in Dubai is seeking an Australian Board Certified Consultant Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join its world-class cardiology team. This is an exceptional opportunity for experienced specialists looking to relocate to Dubai and work in a state-of-the-art cardiac center equipped with advanced electrophysiology and cardiac rhythm management technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage patients with complex cardiac arrhythmias.
  • Perform electrophysiology (EP) studies and catheter ablation procedures for atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), ventricular tachycardia (VT), and other cardiac rhythm disorders.
  • Implant and manage cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs), including pacemakers, ICDs, CRT-P, and CRT-D devices.
  • Interpret ECGs, Holter monitoring, event recorders, and implantable loop recorders.
  • Collaborate with interventional cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, heart failure specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations and follow-up care.
  • Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, research, and continuing medical education.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation while adhering to international patient safety and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MBBS/MBChB or equivalent).
  • Completion of accredited training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology.
  • Fellowship training in Cardiac Electrophysiology .
  • Australian Board/Fellowship qualification (FRACP or equivalent) with subspecialty training in Cardiac Electrophysiology (Mandatory).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of post-fellowship Consultant experience preferred.
  • Expertise in complex catheter ablation procedures and cardiac rhythm device implantation.
  • Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
