Summary of the Role

We are seeking a seasoned and accomplished Consignment Specialist to join our team in TTC.

The Consignment Specialist is responsible for managing consignment inventory across hospitals, clinics, and distribution partners. This role ensures optimal stock levels, accurate inventory tracking, and timely replenishment to support surgical and clinical operations. The position plays a critical role in maintaining product availability while minimizing excess inventory and financial risk.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Supply Chain & Logistics Knowledge
  • Understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes
  • Order management, shipping, and returns handling
  • Demand planning and forecasting basics
  • Distribution and last-mile delivery coordination
  1. Medical Device Knowledge
  • Understanding of medical device products and usage (e.g., implants, consumables, surgical kits)
  • Familiarity with consignment business model in healthcare
  • Knowledge of sterilization, handling, and storage requirements
  • Awareness of clinical usage patterns and procedure scheduling
  1. Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge
  • Traceability requirements (lot/serial tracking)
  • Compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485, local regulations)
  • Audit readiness and documentation standards
  • Expiry management and product recall processes
  1. Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Inventory reporting and KPI tracking
  • Consumption trend analysis
  • Identifying slow-moving and obsolete stock
  • Forecasting support using historical data
  • Root cause analysis for inventory issues
  1. Order & Case Coordination
  • Managing urgent requests for surgical cases
  • Preparing and coordinating consignment kits / loaner sets
  • Scheduling and prioritizing deliveries based on case urgency
  • Coordination with sales and clinical teams

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Finance or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrably successful experience in an administrative/coordination role within the medical device industry, with a proven track record of developing.
  • Experience in MS Excel
