About The Role

As our #AAA team continues to grow, we’re looking for a  Senior Occupational Therapist  to support participants across the  Sutherland Shire region , covering  Caringbah, Cronulla and lower St George  depending on where you’re based  - work close to home!

As an experienced clinician, you’ll bring your expertise to a supportive and collaborative environment where you can make a meaningful impact in the lives of your participants, contribute to team development, and continue growing professionally. 

  • Manage an allocated caseload (based on your negotiated hours) and deliver timely therapeutic services
  • Assess participants’ developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
  • Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals
  • Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to support participant outcomes
  • Caseload will be tailored to your experience, interests and professional goals
  • Support the growth and development of graduates and early career clinicians. 

To be successful in this role you will have

  • Current Occupational Therapy membership with AHPRA
  • Experience as an Occupational Therapist or Senior Occupational Therapist beyond graduation
  • Passionate about community‑based support for people with disability
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
  • Thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment 
  • Desire to mentor graduates and early career clinicians
