Senior Speech Pathologist

About The Role
As our #AAA team continues to grow, we’re looking for a Senior Speech Pathologist  to support participants across the  Illawarra region , covering Nowra and North and South Wollongong, depending on where you’re based - work close to home!
As an experienced clinician, you’ll bring your expertise to a supportive and collaborative environment where you can make a meaningful impact in the lives of your participants, contribute to team development, and continue growing professionally.
Responsibilities will include
- Manage a varied, community‑based caseload across homes, schools and outreach settings
- Work with individuals across the lifespan, including early intervention, paediatrics, adolescents and adults
- Support a range of needs such as feeding, early language, dysphagia, communication difficulties and AAC
- Conduct observations and standardised assessments to develop meaningful, participant‑centred goals
- Deliver evidence‑based therapy that builds communication, participation and independence
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to support participant outcomes
- Caseload will be tailored to your experience, interests and professional goals
- Support the growth and development of graduates and early career clinicians. 
To be successful in this role you will have
- Current Speech Pathology Australia membership with SPA
- Experience as a Speech Pathologist or Senior Speech Pathologist beyond graduation
- Passionate about community‑based support for people with disability
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
- Thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment 
- Desire to mentor graduates and early career clinicians
