About The Role

What's the role?

We are seeking a driven and creative Client Partner to join our retail team, dedicated to one of our largest key clients. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact, building a deep and meaningful partnership to understand their business at its core. You’ll be responsible for bringing fun and innovative campaigns to life, leveraging Australia’s premier media platforms to deliver exceptional results.

As the lead Client Partner for this key account, you will drive the strategic direction of the partnership, ensuring our marketing solutions across digital, content, and print perfectly align with the client’s vision. You will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to champion the client’s brand and deliver integrated solutions that push creative boundaries in the retail space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the central point of contact and trusted advisor for a major retail key client.
  • Lead the end-to-end execution of engaging and high-impact retail campaigns.
  • Foster a deep partnership by consistently identifying opportunities to add value to the client’s business.
  • Collaborate with internal creative and product teams to translate client needs into "fun" and effective media strategies.
  • Oversee revenue growth and strategy across digital and print channels for the dedicated account.
  • Ensure proposals are aligned with client objectives and showcase the unique benefits of our solutions.
  • Track and analyse sales metrics and KPIs, including revenue targets, conversion rates, pipeline activity and forecasting.
  • Utilise data-driven insights to optimise sales strategies and drive continuous improvement.

Who are you?

  • Proven experience in senior account management or client-side marketing within the retail sector.
  • A passion for retail and a flair for bringing creative, fun campaign concepts to life.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on building long-term, deep professional partnerships.
  • Strategic thinker who enjoys being the go-to person for complex client solutions.
  • Commercial mindset, with a proactive approach to identifying and seizing opportunities for growth.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing client accounts, including relationship building, contract negotiation, and account growth strategies.
  • Able to identify market opportunities and develop innovative sales strategies to help drive revenue growth.
  • Understanding of the industry and market trends.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop account plans to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Experience in account planning and execution is beneficial.
  • Ability to understand client requirements, identify pain points, and propose effective solutions
