2026-7976 Reinsurance Accountant - Junior (Midshift)

The Reinsurance Accountant will assume responsibility for supporting the Operations department.

Job Responsibilities

• Triaging of Operations inbox
• Chasing of QS bordereaux accounts
• Chasing of accounts receivable
• Allocation of cash receipts. Liaising with brokers on missing cash information
• Liaise with brokers and underwriters regarding queries, outstanding receivables and premium adjustments
• Other projects and/or tasks as required including helping with implementation of workflow

 

• A professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACA) is required with preference given
• Strong organizational, documentation and office skills including proficient use of Microsoft office applications
• Strong work ethic
• Natural ability to use initiative and work without supervision
• Problem solving ability
• Effective time management skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work with tight deadlines during peak periods

Additional Preferred Skills & Experience

• Strong academic record which may/may not include a University degree
• Ability and willingness to work well and collaborate with others
• Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively at all levels
• Fluent in English

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
